Elfriede uses the JAMES S6 emergency watch with a fall sensor.

Elfriede (75) has been looking after her large garden on her own since her husband’s death. She particularly enjoys working on her new vegetable patch. Two weeks ago, however, she suffered a concussion after falling whilst gardening. Almost four hours passed before her cousin Peter found her; during that time, she lay helpless on the ground in pain.

Peter already wears a JAMES emergency watch and has now fitted Elfriede with one of these smart emergency watches too. Should Elfriede fall again, she can use her new smartwatch to send an alarm to Peter and other helpers:

A quick press of the red button is all it takes to get help. Just in case, an additional package (FALL & DEMENTIA) with a fall sensor can also be added to the watch. So if Elfriede remains motionless for an unusually long period, JAMES will alert the emergency services. This prevents her from lying on the floor in pain following a fall, fainting or circulatory problems.

Whilst waiting for help, Elfriede is put through to her loved ones via a voice call. From now on, the keen gardener need not worry about having to face emergency situations like this on her own.

Ever since Elfriede started wearing the JAMES wristwatch, she has felt safe around the clock – and her family is reassured too. She particularly likes the design of the emergency watch.

"It looks like a stylish smartwatch."
