Customer Code of Conduct

1. Purpose and Scope

This Customer Code of Conduct outlines the principles, standards, and expectations that apply to all customers, partners, and users (“Customers”) who engage with ilogs healthcare GmbH (“ilogs”).

It is designed to promote responsible, ethical, secure, and lawful use of ilogs’ products, platforms, and services, particularly in the sensitive context of healthcare, telecare, and digital health solutions.

By using ilogs products or services, Customers agree to comply with this Code of Conduct.

2. Ethical and Responsible Use

Customers are expected to:

  • Use ilogs solutions responsibly, ethically, and in good faith.
  • Act in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards, including healthcare and data protection regulations.
  • Respect the rights, dignity, and safety of end users, including vulnerable persons such as seniors or individuals requiring assistance.

Any use of ilogs products for unlawful, harmful, deceptive, or abusive purposes is strictly prohibited.

3. Data Protection and Privacy

ilogs solutions often process sensitive personal and health-related data. Customers must therefore:

  • Comply with all applicable data protection and privacy laws (including GDPR and relevant national regulations).
  • Ensure that personal data is processed lawfully, transparently, and only for legitimate purposes.
  • Implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect data against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse.
  • Inform end users appropriately about data processing and obtain any required consents.

Customers are responsible for their own data protection compliance when using ilogs systems.

4. Information Security

Customers shall:

  • Follow recognized information security best practices when accessing or operating ilogs platforms.
  • Protect access credentials and prevent unauthorized use of systems, devices, or interfaces.
  • Promptly report any suspected security incidents, data breaches, or vulnerabilities related to ilogs products.

Customers must not attempt to bypass, disable, or interfere with security mechanisms implemented by ilogs.

5. Compliance with Healthcare and Regulatory Requirements

Customers operating in regulated environments (e.g. healthcare providers, call centers, service organizations) are responsible for:

  • Ensuring that their use of ilogs solutions complies with all applicable healthcare, medical device, and safety regulations.
  • Using ilogs products only within their intended and agreed scope.
  • Maintaining any licenses, approvals, or certifications required for their activities.

ilogs products support compliance but do not replace the Customer’s own regulatory responsibilities.

6. Fair and Respectful Cooperation

ilogs expects Customers to:

  • Communicate professionally, respectfully, and constructively with ilogs employees, partners, and support teams.
  • Refrain from harassment, discrimination, threats, or abusive behavior.
  • Provide accurate, complete, and truthful information when engaging with ilogs.

ilogs reserves the right to restrict or suspend services in cases of serious misconduct.

7. Intellectual Property

Customers shall:

  • Respect all intellectual property rights of ilogs and third parties.
  • Use software, documentation, trademarks, and other materials only as contractually agreed.
  • Refrain from copying, modifying, reverse-engineering, or redistributing ilogs products without authorization.

All intellectual property remains the property of ilogs or its licensors.

8. System Integrity and Availability

Customers must not:

  • Intentionally disrupt, overload, or misuse ilogs systems.
  • Introduce malware, malicious code, or harmful content.
  • Use ilogs services in a manner that could compromise system stability, performance, or availability for others.

Responsible system use helps ensure high availability and reliability for all users.

9. Reporting Concerns and Violations

Customers are encouraged to promptly report:

  • Ethical or compliance concerns

10. Consequences of Non-Compliance

Violations of this Customer Code of Conduct may result in:

  • Termination of contractual relationships

11. Updates and Amendments
