Elfriede uses the JAMES S6 emergency watch with a fall sensor.
Elfriede (75) has been tending her large garden by herself since her husband passed away. She loves nothing more than working in her new vegetable garden. However, two weeks ago she suffered a concussion after falling while gardening. It was almost four hours before her cousin Peter found her; during that time she lay helplessly on the ground in pain.
Peter already wears a JAMES emergency watch and has now equipped Elfriede with one of these smart emergency watches. If Elfriede falls again, she can send an alarm to Peter and other helpers via her new smart watch:
It's enough to quickly press the red button to summon help. For extra security, an additional package (FALL & DEMENTIA) with a fall sensor can also be added to the watch. So, if Elfriede remains motionless for an unusually long period, JAMES will alert emergency services. This prevents her from lying on the floor in pain after a fall, fainting spell, or circulation problems.
While she waits for help, Elfriede is connected to her loved ones via a voice call. From now on, the passionate gardener no longer has to worry about facing such emergencies alone.
Since Elfriede started wearing JAMES on her wrist, she feels safe 24 hours a day – and her family is also at ease. She especially likes the emergency watch's design.
"It looks like a stylish smartwatch."
