In early 2021, JAMES TeleCare, in partnership with Smart City Vienna, will provide 30 elderly residents of the Per-Albin-Hansson housing estate with a JAMES tablet and an emergency call watch.
Many older people approach increasing digitalization with caution and reluctance. The project is specifically designed to counter this problem. Under the motto "Staying active in old age through digitalization," the goal is to provide older people with easy access to the digital age, while also encouraging their interest in new technologies.
AAL (Active Assisted Living) support systems, like JAMES TeleCare, can ensure a better quality of life in old age and provide support in the areas of SAFETY, HEALTH, and COMMUNITY, using their senior-friendly software and hardware.
