  • UX design for seniors, professionals and relatives
  • Cloud applications and API interfaces

We are particularly strong at quickly implementing new ideas, e.g. in pilot projects, studies or research projects.

Software at first hand

What makes ilogs special is not just the hardware, but the deep IT expertise behind it. As a software company specialising in eHealth, IoT and security solutions, ilogs develops all platform components, communication interfaces and device software in-house.

This allows:

In-house development & continuous innovation

JAMES watches are based on a consistently advanced software and hardware concept. The focus is on the in-house development of the system software by the ilogs team: individually programmed firmware, stable OTA updates (over-the-air), configurable user interfaces and seamless connection to the James TeleCare platform and call centres.

These functions are not static, but can be expanded on an ongoing basis. ilogs maintains a continuous software development cycle with feature updates, security patches and improvements based on customer feedback and research.

Research & Cooperation

Innovations do not arise in isolation – that is why ilogs works closely with leading scientific institutions in Europe. Our research partners support us in areas such as assistance systems, AAL (Ambient Assisted Living), telemedicine, AI and social technology acceptance.

Long-standing cooperation partners

The results of these collaborations are directly incorporated into our product development – for example, through evidence-based usability concepts, new tele-care functionalities, or validation in practical use.

With this approach, you can Digital care applications (DiPA) to support people in need of care and their relatives in a needs-oriented manner, and to integrate digital care aids into the partners' existing eco-health system.

research projects

As part of several European research projects such as WAALTER (Home - WAALTeR) and Smart VitAALity (http://www.smart-vitaality.at/), ilogs has proven that vital sign monitoring at home can be a useful, practical addition to traditional care. Whether for follow-up care after hospitalisation or long-term care for people with chronic illnesses, ilogs offers simple, networked solutions for health monitoring in the comfort of your own home.

Sustainability & Recycling

10 years of experience, proven and sustainable

With its „JAMES emergency watches" product line, ilogs can look back on over a decade of successful development, implementation and further development. While many competitors market short-term hardware solutions, ilogs pursues a sustainable platform approach: durable devices, expandable software, compatible infrastructure.

At ilogs, sustainability means

  • Device generations with a long product service life
  • Repairability & updatability for years to come
  • Reduction of disposable hardware through reuse
  • Energy-saving designs and optimised charging cycles
  • Modularity to grow with changing user needs

This philosophy makes JAMES a sustainable solution - economically and ecologically.

recycling programme

In line with the EU strategy on the circular economy and the requirements of the WEEE Directive (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment), ilogs has established a comprehensive take-back and recycling programme.

Used JAMES smartwatches are systematically taken back, professionally reconditioned and, where possible, reused. Devices that are no longer usable are recycled in accordance with the highest environmental standards in order to recover valuable raw materials and minimise electronic waste.

Circular economy in practice

Our contribution:

  • Reduction of electronic waste in the EU
  • Conservation of natural resources (rare earths, metals)
  • Extending product life cycles through refurbishment
  • Active contribution to the European Green Deal
  • Transparent documentation of recycling rates

With this programme, we are positioning ourselves as a responsible partner in the field of sustainable health technology – for a digital future that does not come at the expense of our environment.
